Wardley

a class of 26 children who are between 7 and 9 years old.

have three terms every school year

1.    September to January

--October half term is a week off.

-- Christmas is about two weeks off.

2.    January to April (Easter)

--February is a week off.

-- Easter is two weeks off.

3.    May to July 

--June is one week off.

-- Approx 6 weeks off over the summer.

In Wardley, each phase do topics twice every term.  This years topics are Ancient Egypt, Murder down the Mine!, Tudors, Comics, Anglo-Saxons and a special whole school topic - Olympics.  The phases are Year 1/2, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6.
